Maya

After visiting Tikal, a Mayan pyramid city in Guatemala, I started this series in pre-Columbian script. I use the names and colors of the originally given symbols from the sacred Mayan calendar. From this, the cosmically inspired forms emerged from which one can read the wise messages of this ancient culture.
